TREND 1:

In the 90’s, I owned a few checkered and plaid skirts similar to what is on trend this fall. I even owned a couple of two piece suits, and I’m seeing those on every retailer’s website right now. What I love about this trend is that every woman can style this plaid according to her style and age. It is so versatile. You can style it with a tee, denim jacket and booties or dress it up with a blouse and pumps. My favorite way to style this RIVER ISLAND check skirt is with a chunky sweater and booties.

TREND 2:

Talking about booties. The white bootie trend isn’t going anywhere just yet. I’m not mad about it either. Currently, I own three pair and wear them constantly. My favorites are these from RIVER ISLAND because the square heel is so fabulous and chic. Some may be intimidated by the white bootie trend, but they can styled various ways. Just rock them with a floral dress or jeans and a tee. They add a little edge and chicness to a basic outfit.

TREND 3:

Jumpsuits just remind me of the 70’s, but I love everything about the 70’s. I normally can’t wear them though because I’m so short. Luckily, RIVER ISLAND has a petite line of clothes!! Everything that I order just fits me perfectly. Now, I can wear jumpsuits!!! This particular one is screaming fall. I can throw a moto jacket over it and add some booties for a date night look.
