I’ve linked up with some lovely friends to share our latest dressy looks (check out their links below). But, let’s be real. I don’t dress up a whole lot which means that I rarely buy dresses much less the fancier ones. And, let me be extra real, it is hard for me to be able to find a maxi dress that doesn’t sweep the floor.
Well, I had a fancier event to attend in Dallas. The first thing that I began to do was search for a little black dress.
When the search began, ASOS was my first choice and last choice. Since I’m a shorty, I love their petite options. So, I ordered this black dress, and I hoped that it would fit perfectly. Well, I got it in a week before the event, and thankfully, it fit perfect. It is seriouslly the best black dress that I have bought everrrrr.

So, I personally encourage everyone to purchase a pretty black dress and some black heels. It is perfect for any event that is coming up. And, hello, black always makes me feel a little thinner!!!! Here are a few more of my favorites.
