When stripes meet ruffles, WATCH OUT!! This dress caught my eye the moment that I saw it. It’s just darling. It looks so cute paired with a cardigan and short booties. And, I can envision it with pumps for a wedding that is right around the corner. AND, y’all, this dress is only $34. Snag it while you can. For size reference, I am wearing the size 6.

So, what is it with frills and ruffles that intimidates some people?? I personally love how any style (even the preps) can incorporate this trend into the everyday outfit. Okay, so, I wanted to prove to you that there are so many options available. Maybe just maybe, this will convince a few ladies to jump on the ruffle train.

Option 1: 

 

striped top  + relaxed skinnies + booties

Option 2:

ruffle sleeve top + black skinnies + booties

Option 3:

blue plaid top + relaxed skinnies + booties

Option 4:

red check top + black skinnies + booties

Aren’t all of those tops so cute?!? I am swooning over the striped ruffle sleeve top and that red check top. I can add a cardigan and some over the knee boots when the weather gets a little chillier. Or, I can add a denim skirt and tennies for a super, casual vibe.

    Personally I don’t feel good in ruffles but this dress looks amazing!!! And I love the way you paired that with brown boots! Beautiful set. You actually managed to convince me. Next time I’m shopping I have to try a ruffled dress on and see how I feel.
