I have visited Nashville numerous times, and I enjoy it even more each time. It has great food, kind people, hip culture, and some of the greatest hotels. Before I get into my favorite food spots, I am so excited to share about our stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

From the rooms to the landscape to the decor, it is quite exquisite. I kept telling Mike that I can’t wait to return with the entire family. There is so much to do and to see at the resort. And, they have a new addition to the grounds, Soundwaves. The Gaylord Opryland is the only Nashville resort that has a water experience. Soundwaves is a beautiful yet fun attraction for hotel guests that has upscale amenities and relaxing water features both indoors/outdoors for people of all ages to enjoy. Check out how luxurious the layout and design is. They outdid themselves.

In between enjoying ourselves at the resort, we had a few spots in 12South, Germantown + East Nashville that are always a must:
- Five Daughter’s Bakery
- Imogene + Willie
- Amelia’s Flower Truck
- Bartaco
- The Flipside
- Apple & Oak
- Stay Golden
- Loading Dock
- Rolf and Daughters {favorite restaurant in Nashville by far}

I’m already dreaming up another reason to visit soon.

This trip was sponsored by the Gaylord Opryland Resort, but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
