Well, I made my way back to the beautiful, magical state of Arizona!! After falling in love with the wild west in 2019, I knew that I had to return to check a few more things off of my to do list. If you missed that travel guide from last year, you can find it here~ Arizona Travel Guide part 1.

Places to lodge:

I knew that most of the resorts would be closed, and I only really wanted to stay at The Scott Resort. It was temporarily closed for renovations. So, my second choice was find a cute house in Scottsdale. And, gosh, I found thee cutest house EVER~ Casa Tres Agaves was just perfect!! Staying at this airbnb surely made our trip even more special. Just take a peek at the pictures below~ we will definitely stay here again when we visit Scottsdale. It is only 15-20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes to Phoenix. And, it is only minutes away from downtown Scottsdale and Dutch Bros Coffee ~
2012 N SCOTTSDALE RD SCOTTSDALE, AZ, 85257.

Things to do:
.
Our first day, we set out to tour Sedona. It took us a little over two hours. And, it was totally worth it. The drive was beautiful and very easy. We decided to drive a little further to Flagstaff before our Safari Jeep Tour. We booked the sunset Mongollon Rim Run, and we LOVED it. This was such a blast {very bumpy but worth it}, and the views were remarkable. Our tour guide was Jon Cornelius, and he was so knowledgable and helpful. We gave him a five stars rating!!

..
Our second and third day was spent touring the area and finding all of the murals + cacti!! We had the
Desert Botanical Gardens on our list, but it was temporarily closed to visitors. But, it is highly recommend to visit.

.
.
I also recommend~
Old Town Scottsdale {fun shopping}
Ruze Cake House {yummy macarons, cupcakes, and more}
And, on the fourth day, the highlight of the trip was the the hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders. After much research, this company offered the best rides for the best price. In the summer, they offer only sunrise balloon rides. In the fall, they have only sunset balloon rides. And oh my goodness, the colors painted across the sky at dawn was breathtaking. It was definitely a bucket list moment. We highly recommend to add this to your list when visiting Arizona.
I had so many questions in regards to it being scary or not scary. Honestly, it was not scary at all. It felt safe the entire time.

The Canal Club {Caribbean yumminess + located inside of The Scott Resort}
Farm and Craft{great spot for lunch or dinner}
The Henry{we loved this restaurant~ the atmosphere + the food was perfect for our last night out}

.
On our last day, we had extra time so we hopped in the car, and we drove to Palm Springs, California. It was roughly 4 hours away but worth it!!!! We had a blast driving, laughing, sightseeing, and taking more pictures.
