Girl’s day in New Orleans

Hello Monday!! Hope that you had a lovely weekend. I had a girls weekend in New Orleans celebrating the life of our Bella Alise {our only daughter}. Let me just say that Bella rocked our world from day one. She is everything and more that we dreamt about for years {and prayed forth too}. God knew exactly what kind of daughter that Mike and I needed. Our heart explodes with love for her. She is rare, beautiful and the best in the whole wide world.

So, what does a 12 year old love more than spending time with her friends?..  Of course, it’s shopping!! We started off Friday night with dinner at District Donuts and enjoyed some amazing sliders and cheese fries. It was followed by homemade jello cake requested by the birthday girl. We made a stop at the movies before heading to our hotel. By the way, Hampton Inn and Suites in Nola was gorgeous. We had a suite, and we were in awe over the design and decor.

Magazine street adventures

An exact bed time was non existent. They were playing Heads Up at 1:30am. Let’s just say that we all had a hard time functioning the next day off of 4 hours of sleep. We woke up and headed straight to H&M then to the fabulous Kendra Scott store. Our Nola store has the best staff ever. They are all so warm, genuine and helpful. Bella created her very own Elisa necklace at the color bar. She was so proud of it, and she was even more excited about getting 50% off. Thanks Leah and the rest of the staff.

Next stop, LUSH!!! This was their favorite by far. We all spent way too money on those darn bath balls. I am obsessed with them. The golden egg was just the cutest. Next stop was Rum House. This is one of the best places for lunch. It’s lively and yummy. We shared two loaded nachos with extra jalapenos. There wasn’t much left. We killed it. Last and final stop was forever21.
