Classic JEAN jacket

What I love more than anything is to hear the wild dreams and the plans that my kids are visualizing for their future. They may not all come to fruition, but I love that their minds and hearts are desiring to do greatness. I know that their steps will be ordered by God so my heart is at peace. I’m a praying momma.

Let me just start out by saying that my baby girl, Bella Alise, has blown me away. She is not only beautiful and kindhearted, but she is brave and full of confidence.

She will be switching schools this year after being in the same environment and circle of friends for 8 years. My heart has been nervous for her. Well, let’s just say that she is way stronger than I was at her age. This week, she walked into a room of 20 plus young girls and coaches who she didn’t know that well and tried out for the cheer team. I’m proud to say that she made it. Yayyy!! Her heart was set that if this wasn’t what she was suppose to be doing that God had other plans. Wow, I had tears of excitement, joy, and extreme proudness. I am this girl’s momma. #totalhonor

“Let your faith be bigger than your fears.” 

This is Bella at age 8 {3 years ago}. It’s my favorite picture of her. I also wanted to include it because we are both styling our jean jackets.

It’s a staple, and every girl should have at least one. It adds a bit of casualness to a dress, cuteness to a simple skirt and top, and a relaxed vibe tied around your waist. I love the whole wearing it propped on the shoulders too. It has a preppy vibe.

I styled this top with a pleated skirt that I’ve had for a few years from forever21 (I linked a similar skirt from Nordstrom). I included my handmade clutch from Made Supply Co and my mules from Amazon. It’s a simple yet feminine vibe.
