Hello Vegas!! This was a surprise girl’s trip for Bella’s 16th birthday. I have always promised to bring her NYC for her sweet 16, but with covid restrictions, Vegas was the better option. I have to say this that one of the biggest misconceptions about Vegas is that it is all about drinking and gambling. Exploring off the strip is a must. There is so much to see and to experience off of the strip.
.
Since we were going to explore off of the strip, we did rent a car. We stayed at The Linq which was the only room that I could find that slept 5 of us for a reasonable price. And self parking was only $15 a day which was a fabulous price!!!
.
After checking into our hotel, the first thing that was on our list was going take pics in front of the fabulous Las Vegas sign!! We didn’t want to go when there was full sun so we went around 4pm. It was perfect. Here is the address, and they have free parking: 5200 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
