I’m finally sharing some of the traveling details from our cruise to Alaska that my parents so graciously blessed my husband and I with {and my brother and his wife too}. We booked our cruise with Princess Cruises and opted to go to the Seattle port. We boarded the Crown Princess ship there and began our 7 day journey on water.
.
.
Our first stop was in Juneau which had this dreamy, small town flair. We booked a short excursion and steered away from doing an intense excursion on this stop. We toured the downtown area on our own then we joined our tour guide to visit an old gold mind which was fascinating but a little boring too. HA. I’m being honest. My dad fell asleep standing up which was an insanely hysterical moment. But, isn’t he the cutest?!
.
.
We boarded our ship and headed to the next city which was Skagway. We booked another excursion through the ship due to the short time frames that we had on land. So, we went on the train ride that brought us up to the Klondike Gold Rush National Park. This was such a majestic site. Our cameras couldn’t capture just how fascinating the wonders of God’s creation really is. We do suggest to take the train ride up the mountain, and the bus back down the mountain. Three hours on the train was a little much for us. LOL. We did have time to walk downtown. I spotted some Poppies which is my favorite flower. So, YES, I had to take pictures of them.
.
.
Now, we were headed to Ketchikan. Along the way, we were able to see some glaciers which was really cool. When we arrived in Ketchikan, we decided to take different tours. I went with my parents to visit the Annette Islands Reserve which is the only Indian reservation in Alaska. It was interesting to see where they lived and to learn about their culture. Unfornatley, I didn’t take many pictures because it was raining. Some of our group did go kayaking which they had a blast and saw amazing beauty and lots of bald eagles.
.
Our last stop was in Victoria, Canada (which was honestly my favorite city on this trip). When we arrived, the weather was so amazing. It was perfect timing, because I couldn’t wait to wear my adorable one shoulder romper from Fabulous Finds Boutique. We decided to tour the city on our own which included visiting the Empress Hotel and strolling along Government street. The flowers and landscaping was impeccable. I wanted to take pictures of everything. We decided to dine near the waterfront at The Local restaurant on Wharf Street. It was so delicious, and we LOVED the atmosphere. It is a must if you visit this city. I had the manager snap a picture of us on the patio where we dined {check out the photo bomber} so you could get a feel of how cute it truly was.
.
.
I hope that I didn’t bore you too much. But, I had so many people contact me that were intrigued to know the details of the trip. I do believe that it is a vacation that everyone should take once in their lifetime.

XOXO,
Angelle
