Hello y’all!! Hope all is well. We just celebrated our 23 wedding anniversary so I booked a short getaway for the two of us. The beautiful state of Arizona was top on my list!! After falling in love with the wild west in 2019, I decided that I have to return once a year!!! If you missed my past travel guides, you can find them here~ Arizona Travel Guide part 1 + Arizona Travel Guide part 2.

First of all, I highly suggest to get a direct flight to Phoenix, and Turo is the only way that anyone should rent a car. I was so impressed with this app + car rental experience that I want to tell everyone about them. ,
Second of all, the best resort in my opinion is The Scott Resort. It is so chill + has the best design/layout. I can’t help but love with every detail. It is a boho enthusiasts dream. And, I can’t complain about the large layout of the room along with a great balcony + view of the pool. I give it a 5 star rating!!!

DAY ONE
.
We reserved our first day for some relaxation by the pool. We ate lunch poolside from The Canal Club. And, that quinoa salad with chicken is DIVINE. I didn’t want to share it with Mike!! Food + drinks were fabulous.
.
After a few hours of soaking in the sun, we got all dolled up, and we headed to the Desert Botanical Gardens. I highly suggest to go at sunset so it will be a little cooler. I wasn’t impressed the first time that I visited the gardens in 2019 because it was so, SO hot last time. We took our time + walked throughout the entire property. It was fascinating. And if you love cacti, you will be obsessed. We did have to order tickets online to reserve our spot. It is roughly $25 per person.
.
For dinner, we had reservations at The Henry. I am always impressed with the vibe of this restaurant. It’s lively + trendy. And, the food is always delicious.

.These are just a few snaps from the gardens. Pictures don’t do it justice. Some of these cacti are over 75 years old. So cool, right??!?

.DAY TWO
.
Our second day, we set out to explore Sedona. It took us a little over two hours. And, it was totally worth it. The drive is beautiful + very easy. We both aren’t huge fans of hiking. So, I booked the sunset Mongollon Rim Run jeep tour again, and Mike LOVED it. It is Bear Wallow Canyon. We saw Snoopy Rock, Merry-Go-Round Rock, Munds Mountain, Mitten Ridge, Wilson Mountain, and more. It is truly magical. This is a must when visiting Sedona.
.
After having a light lunch in downtown Sedona, we booked reservations for dinner at Creekside American Bistro. This was a perfect ending to day two. The food was great!!
