BATHROOM MAKEOVER WITH WAYFAIR

Who else has a room in the house that you are dying to give it a makeover?!??? 

For me, my bathrooms have been the two rooms that I have just wanted to gut and start with a clean slate-  I want them to be a bit brighter and happier. 

Eight years ago, our house flooded from a hurricane Isaac, and I wish that I would have never put down that darn travertine. It has been so hard to keep clean. So, we decided to start with giving our master bathroom a facelift. We will tackle the kid’s bathroom next.

Well, we ripped out everything— tile, shower, vanities, lighting. And, we did start with a clean slate. I found everything online at Wayfair which made this entire process so much easier.

I knew that I wanted lots of white and hints of gold. The Kohler faucets and shower set was first in my cart. And, they did not disappoint. I’m obsessed with how amazing these pieces just add a bold, rich pop and bring so much overall to the bathroom.

The white mosaic tile was a must for the floor, and I couldn’t wait for the shower to get a major upgrade with the white subway tile. 

It makes me squeal with excitement. It looks so clean and fresh.

We updated the two vanities to one large one with more drawers. This is already one of my most favorite decisions. It makes the bathroom feel larger. And, the large mirror (that I found at Wayfair for a fabulous price) just brought everything together. I do have to brag on the new lighting too. I wanted to go with the mid-century fixtures over the vanity and over the tub. And, I am completely smitten with how exquisite that they look in the bathroom.
